The luminaire is streamlined and ultra-thin, with a thickness of only 80mm (just over 3 inches in size). The company emphasizes four aspects of its production – modular design, unique cooling technology, new optical design and efficient light source modules.
The street lamp uses Nichia's high-efficiency light-emitting diodes. Recently, Nichia and OptoTech signed a cooperation agreement on expanding production and sales.
OptoTech said that they put practicality as their top priority, so the internal structure is designed with a patented module with hinges and E-rings, which means that repairs or replacements can be done by one person.
Because of its unique cooling technology, the company calls its products "breathable street lights." The heat generated by the optical module is quickly and efficiently removed by a copper heat pipe placed under the vents of the bottom cover to the aluminum heat sink.
According to OptoTech, the optical design is optically compliant and conforms to international standards. Considering its drive safety, the product uses a perfect butterfly-shaped luminosity curve design. According to the company, the luminosity curve design of its products produces better illumination intensity and allows for more comfortable lighting than other competitors.
At the same time, the power module has a conversion efficiency of 90% or more, and its constant current output can make the life of the LED longer.
The color temperature of the 105W street lamp is 5200K, and the color rendering index (Ra) is 70. The power factor is 0.912-0.989 and the power supply efficiency is 95%. The total luminous flux is 8640 lm (ie, 105 W luminous efficiency is 82 lm/W).
Currently, the product has passed testing and auditing standards, and new patents have been applied in the US, China and Taiwan. OptoTech said government agencies and companies have begun to make inquiries and orders for this product.
