Introduction:
   The LPD6803 is a driver chip designed for LED lighting systems. It uses an elegant CMOS process in cash to provide Sanlu constant current drive and grayscale modulation output, making it ideal for discrete multi-gray full color lighting systems.

Three-way output, constant current drive: Each circuit has an external resistor to adjust the current: Iout(max)=30mA, Vout(max)=12V
Compatible with constant voltage mode, it can directly replace conventional chips such as ZQL9712;
Direct PWM output, no loss of brightness, reduce data transmission, and effectively reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI)
Supports 32 levels of gray / 256 levels of gray (built-in inverse gamma correction logic) two modes, high scanning frequency (>4000HZ)
Only two-wire transmission structure of clock line/data line is required, and the cascading capability is super strong. The built-in oscillator supports the FREE-RUN mode and reduces the cost of the control circuit.
Built-in LDO regulator circuit, wide Power Supply range (4.8-8V), high output withstand voltage (LED lamp supply voltage up to 12V)
Simplify peripheral support, expandability is good, can also be used as PWM generator to control high current devices to drive high power LED lights
Performance comparison with ZQL9712:
Note 1: The test conditions are data clock 2M, length 200, 32 gray scale, LPD6803 scan frequency has nothing to do with length;
2: Display the same content, the data volume of LPD6803 is 1/5-1/3 of ZQL9712;
3: The FREE-RUN function refers to the ability to maintain the original gray scale display after the stop control signal is input;
4: The cascading distance between LED lights during testing is 15cm;
5: LPD6803 can directly replace ZQL9712 (constant voltage mode) under SOP16/TSSOP16 package
