Welcome to use our company's products – the hollow glass dew point meter. This detector is specifically developed based on GB/T11944-2012 "Insulating Glass Standard" for testing dew point methods.

The equipment utilizes cascade refrigeration technology, an intelligent digital display instrument, and PID temperature control. It offers a simple operation interface, intuitive display, fast cooling speed, and accurate temperature regulation, making it ideal for laboratory and industrial applications.

Parameter Setting Guide

1. Time Parameter Setting

Press the “>” key to enter the time display mode. The lower row of the screen will light up, allowing you to adjust the value by pressing the “∧” key. (The unit for time is seconds.)

2. Temperature Parameter Setting

All factory settings for parameter configuration, PID settings, and temperature control have been pre-adjusted. To modify the set temperature (SV), press the “∧” or “∨” button on the temperature control meter.

3. Other Settings

For additional settings on the timer or temperature control instrument, please refer to the user manual provided with the equipment.

Operating Instructions

  1. Connect the power cord and turn on the “Power” switch on the control panel. Power on the “Cooling Temperature,” “Test Temperature,” and “Timer” modules. Once powered, the “Test Temperature” PV will display the current cold probe temperature.
  2. Set the “Test Temperature” SV according to your experimental requirements. Press the “Start” button; the indicator light will turn on, and the system will begin the delay process before starting the test.
  3. Note: Due to the cascade refrigeration system, the first-stage compression system starts initially. After approximately 7 minutes, the second-stage system will activate automatically. The temperature display should gradually decrease as expected—this is normal.
  4. Once the temperature reaches the set value, start the experiment by pressing the chronograph button. The timer will begin counting down. When the time is up, the alarm light will illuminate, signaling the end of the test cycle.
  5. After completing the test, press the “Start” button again to stop the system. Then, turn off the power switch and disconnect the power supply.

Usage Precautions

  • This equipment uses a compressor-based refrigeration system. For best performance, allow the equipment to rest for at least 4 hours before its first use. Ensure that there is a minimum 30-minute interval between consecutive system startups.
  • Be cautious when operating the equipment, as the cold probe can reach extremely low temperatures, which may cause frostbite if touched directly.
  • Do not disassemble the equipment unless you are a trained professional. Unauthorized disassembly may result in injury or damage to the device.
