Use a single-arm bridge grounding resistance tester for measurement. For more details, you can search online for "grounding resistance tester".
Static Grounding Detection Method
A.0.1 Static grounding detection should be conducted when the object under test is not charged. This includes grounding systems, non-metallic materials, and anti-static products in the equipment.
A.0.2 Equipment grounding measurements must follow these regulations:
- 1. The contact resistance and jumper resistance between metal parts of the equipment and the special grounding pole can be measured using a standard multimeter.
- 2. Equipment grounding resistance, including the contact resistance of the grounding level and soil, as well as soil flow resistance, can be measured with a ZC series grounding shaker. The distance between the grounding plate and current electrode should be 40 meters, and between the voltage electrode and current electrode should be 20 meters.
- 3. Resistance measurement of non-metallic devices (e.g., non-metallic grounding parts, insulating flanges) should be done as follows: If the resistance is less than 1 MΩ, use a standard multimeter or high-resistance meter; if it is 1 MΩ or higher, use a high-resistance meter of 500V or above, or a megohmmeter.
A.0.3 Conductivity measurement of non-metallic materials must meet the following requirements:
- 1. Volume resistivity and surface resistivity of sheets and films:
- a. When volume resistivity is ≥ 10ⶠΩ·m, follow GB1410-78 for solid electrical insulation resistance testing. Use high-resistance meters like ZC36 or ZC43. Sample size: 100×100 mm square or φ100 mm circle.
- b. When volume resistivity is < 10ⶠΩ·m, follow GB2439-81 for electrical and anti-static rubber resistivity. The electrometer and ammeter input impedance must be > 10¹² Ω. Sample size: 70–150 mm long, 10–150 mm wide.
- 2. Fiber leakage resistance: Follow FJ551-85. Sample weight: 2 ± 0.1g. Use a fiber leakage resistance tester based on RC charge-discharge principles.
- 3. Conductivity of light petroleum products: Follow GB6539-86. Sample oil volume > 1L. Use an oil conductivity tester.
A.0.4 Conductive performance measurement of anti-static products must meet the following requirements:
- 1. Anti-static shoe and conductive shoe resistance: Follow GB4386-84. If R ≥ 1.5×10ⵠΩ, use 500±25V; if R < 1.5×10ⵠΩ, use 100±5V. Test power ≤ 3W.
- 2. Grounding, carpets, and floor coverings: Use two φ60±2mm electrodes (weight 2±0.2kg, brass chrome-plated). Electrode spacing: 1m. Non-flexible ground can be placed under the electrode with conductive sponge (φ60mm, 5–6mm thick, volume resistivity 0.1–1 Ω·m). Use an insulation resistance tester with 500V DC open-circuit voltage and 5mA short-circuit current.
