<1> Two-unit two-divider bookshelf box.
<2> Three units and two frequency division floor boxes;
<Three> Three units 2.5-frequency floor box; the following is a brief analysis.

1) Two-unit two-frequency division: This is the most common and classic system. Its advantage is that the frequency division network is (relatively) simple and the cabinet is also more convenient to manufacture. The production of this system should first pay attention to the choice of speakers and the combination of treble and bass.

2) Three units and two crossovers: in fact, it is the expansion of the previous system, that is, adding a same mid-bass unit (with parallel and series methods) to enhance the low frequency response of the system; therefore there is only one crossover point, but There are many variations of the cabinet.

3) Three-unit 2.5 frequency division: It is also extended on the basis of the first type system, that is, adding a subwoofer unit, although there are two crossover points, but the subwoofer (passive) crossover network is very simple, So it's not too difficult.
At present, almost all DIY kits are nothing more than these three modes, which are for the convenience of amateur DIY enthusiasts; and the three types of finished boxes on the market also account for the vast majority, which shows that manufacturers are also trying to pick simple work , So the success rate is high! Second, we must fully consider the effective connection between the tweeter and the mid-bass unit, such as: the upper limit of the ordinary mid-bass unit is only about 5KHZ, and the lower limit of the treble is only about 3KHZ. This is still the manufacturer's information. It is difficult to guarantee, so it can be seen that the crossover point is only 3KHZ-5KHZ, and the upper limit of the fever mid-bass unit is 7K--8KHZ tweeter unit, the lower limit is 1K--2KHZ, so the mid-bass and tweeter units are best. One is the fever unit. (Take 6.5 inch as an example)

It is extremely undesirable to buy two high and low basses on the street, and then make a crossover and box according to a book. Such a unit has no parameter quality and no guarantee. It is absolutely necessary to buy a brand-name unit of the old factory; it is best to buy a kit The success rate is high, and the profit of about one hundred yuan is to be given to the merchant. But don't buy high-priced kits such as Hivi. Can't do well and cost money! The box system is the advantage of DIY. You can give full play to your imagination.
