# Sun single contest # Fiji K2P out of the box + super simple brush! Double 11 does not know what to buy then continue to lick wool ~

It's been a while since I felt that same rush of excitement during Double 11. This year, for some reason, I didn't feel the usual pressure to stock up on things weeks in advance. In the past, I used to add all my desired items to the cart way before the event—especially for brands like Uniqlo, where I’d even go to the store to try on clothes before adding them to the cart. But this year was different. I think it’s because I had plans to travel abroad, so my focus shifted to booking flights and hotels. On the night of Double 11, instead of rushing to checkout on Tmall or JD, I found myself checking flight prices on Ctrip, Waybun, and other apps, trying to find the best deals. I ended up buying the K2P the next day, feeling a bit guilty about not participating in the shopping frenzy. Still, I’m happy with the purchase, and I don’t mind being a bit of a “wool” enthusiast. I bought the K2P from JD, and there are two color options: Moonlight Silver and Champagne Gold. According to Aunt Zhang’s #blanket competition, the first order should be placed before 12:30 PM. I actually just woke up, so I wasn’t in a hurry. The price when I ordered was 749 yuan, and I used a 500-30 full-category coupon. I also applied 2000 Jing Beans, and finally paid using ApplePay. The final price came out to around 676 yuan. It wasn’t the maximum discount, but I still felt satisfied with saving over 100 yuan. Why did I buy the K2P? Well, I didn’t regret it at all. I had received some coupons beforehand, and I had already been impressed by the K2 router. After upgrading to the K2P, I felt it offered better performance, especially with the Merlin or Fei Xun firmware. It’s a cost-effective choice, and the hardware is among the best under 100 RMB. Plus, with the new ID registration app, I can earn 300 points, and 200 points can be redeemed for a K2P voucher. If I keep using it smoothly for two months, I might get it for free. This is the previous K2 single K+ brush tutorial. This time, brushing the K2P is much simpler and more user-friendly than the K2. Here’s the unboxing experience: The outer packaging is bigger than the K2. Instead of the usual kraft paper, I received a white box. Inside, there was a 32GB SD card as a gift. I didn’t realize it until after placing the order, which was a nice surprise. However, the SD card isn’t very useful for me, and a USB drive would have been more practical. Inside the box, the router was simple and clean. The design is more metal-like compared to the plastic casing of the K2. The metal body feels more premium and helps with heat dissipation, improving overall performance. The router comes with an adapter, instructions, and a currency card. I’m not sure how good the financial features are, but I managed to get a good deal without spending much. The top cover is made of aluminum alloy, giving it a much better texture than the plastic version. The router is thinner than the K2, and the metal case gives it a sleeker look. The back panel has a wave-like design with many ventilation holes for cooling. The four corners have rubber supports that prevent slipping on smooth surfaces. The LAN ports are gigabit, which is a big upgrade from the K2’s 100Mbps. This makes file transfers between devices or a NAS much faster. Hardware-wise, the K2P has a dual-core MT7621A processor running at 880MHz, 128MB RAM, and 16MB flash memory. The wireless chip is the MT7615DN, supporting both 2.4G and 5G bands with 256QAM. It also has a gigabit switch chip and independent power amplifiers, making it significantly more powerful than the K2. Brushing the K2P is surprisingly simple. There are several options, including official firmware, high-fidelity firmware, and even one-click tools. For those who want to customize their experience, the process is straightforward and less complicated than with the K2. If you're interested in brushing, I’ve provided links to the official and high-fidelity firmware. The process involves logging into the router, updating the firmware via the web interface, or using the BootLoader method if needed. It’s a quick process, and once done, you’ll have a much more powerful and customizable router. Overall, the K2P is a great upgrade from the K2, offering better performance, improved cooling, and easier customization. Whether you’re a tech enthusiast or just looking for a reliable router, the K2P is definitely worth considering.
