For the residual current operated protector after a certain period of operation, press the test button in the operating state to check if the action is normal. Caution Do not allow the test button to be pressed for long periods of time. There must be an interval of more than 10 seconds between each operation to avoid burning out the test resistance.

Three-stage residual current operated protectors in operation are checked at least once a month. Each year, a large-scale safety inspection and a 100-day safety activity should be carried out before the peak of electricity or thunderstorm season to perform spot tests on residual current protection devices. If the residual current operated protector breaks the circuit due to a fault in the protected circuit, the cause must be ascertained. After the drain is removed, the residual current indicating button can be reset and the switch can be closed again. It is strictly forbidden to send electricity by force, and it is not allowed to quit running at will. The owner of the property rights shall establish a record of operation and test records for the residual current protection device of the total protection class. The record shall record: the date of commissioning, the acceptance test record at the time of commissioning, the number of days of operation, the number of correct actions, the number of refusals, the analysis of causes of misoperation and refusal to act.
