International Lighting Design Competition successfully held

The China International Lighting Design Competition and Product Market Dynamic Tournament Presentation was held on May 8 in Changzhou.

In the closed-door meeting in the morning, the participants were brainstormed about the two themes of innovation and marketing. They discussed the various stages of the industry and provided many very constructive suggestions for the competition. Innovation is for application, innovation is the starting point for progress, and innovation is an effective means of profit.

The afternoon presentation was hosted by Hong Bing, general manager of China Guangwang. He gave a brief introduction to the China International Lighting Design Contest and showed the results of the previous design competition. China Lighting Association Deng Maolin describes the current Chinese standard system as a four-level standard: national, industry, local, and corporate. At present, China's standard system has been initially established and it is urgently needed that national standards are being formulated. When talking about luminaire design, Professor Zhang said that the ultimate goal of luminaire design is for lighting. Therefore, when designing lamps and lanterns, it is necessary to consider whether the function of lighting is exerted to the fullest extent. Understanding the basic requirements of lighting in various places is the source and power for the development of new lamps and lanterns. Special Excellence Shi Yin always talked about the future development trend of LED, said that in the short term scale, price and the convergence of traditional lighting products, product cycles greatly shortened; long-term need to guide the innovation under standardization. Yin Yin also mentioned that product innovation should reflect the performance of LED products, and hoped to eventually jump out of the framework of traditional lighting, cross-border innovation.

Changzhou Station is the second station of the China International Lighting Design Competition and Product Market Dynamic Tournament. There will be three other presentations, namely Shenzhen Station on May 17th, Guangzhou Station on May 19th, and Ancient Town on June 7th. Station (initial).
