It is understood that this will be China's first wind energy research center. In this cooperation, both China and Netherlands will first investigate the feasibility of establishing a wind energy research center in Baoding, and will issue a "feasibility report" in April next year. The Dutch side will invest 200,000 euros in this. In the first phase of the agreement, Huayi Wing Blade Research and Development Center, China's first wind turbine blade research and development center in Baoding High-tech Zone, has invested 50 million yuan in advance to produce the first batch of 1.5-megawatt blade molds, which will be mass-produced in August. High-power blades of more than 2 trillion are also being produced and are expected to be completed by the end of next year.
It is understood that the Netherlands is one of the most advanced countries in wind power technology. This cooperation will combine the advanced technologies of the Netherlands with China’s vast wind power market and open up new avenues for solving the technological bottlenecks in the development of new energy in China.
