# Sun single contest # Fiji K2P out of the box + super simple brush! Double 11 does not know what to buy then continue to lick wool ~

It's been a while since I felt the same excitement around Double 11 as in previous years. This year, for some reason, I didn't feel that rush. Usually, I would add items to my cart weeks or even a month in advance, especially for products like Uniqlo clothing, where I'd go to the store first to try them on before adding them to my shopping cart. Back then, I was always ready to click on the first deal during Double 11, because I knew that if I hesitated, I might regret it later. This year, I think I was more focused on planning my trip abroad, so I spent more time researching flights and hotels. Instead of rushing to checkout on Tmall or JD at midnight, I kept checking flight prices on apps like Ctrip, Waybun, and others. I ended up purchasing a Fiji K2P the next day, and although I felt a bit guilty about not getting into the Double 11 frenzy, I still managed to get a good deal. I bought the K2P from JD, and there are two color options: Moonlight Silver and Champagne Gold. According to Aunt Zhang’s blanket competition, the order was placed before noon at 12:30 PM. I had just woken up, so it was a rare break for me. The price when I placed the order was 749 RMB. I used a 500-30 full-category coupon, plus 2000 Jing Beans. When I paid via Apple Pay and Bai Bar, the final price came down to around 676 RMB. It wasn’t the best discount, but I was satisfied with saving over 100 RMB. Why did I buy it? Well, I don’t regret buying anything this Double 11, and I’m sorry for missing out on the festival. I had received coupons beforehand, and I also appreciated the performance of the previous K2 router. After flashing it with Merlin or Fei Xun firmware, I noticed a significant improvement in performance. The K2P has a higher configuration than the K2, and even though it’s slightly more expensive, it’s worth it. Plus, the new ID registration app gives 300 points, which can be used to redeem K2P vouchers. If you use it smoothly for two months, you can get a free one! This is the previous K2 single K+ flashing tutorial. Compared to the K2, the K2P is much easier to flash. Here’s the unboxing gallery: Since it's an open box, I decided to show the unboxing process. The outer packaging is bigger than the K2's. I received a white package instead of the usual kraft color. Inside, there was a 32GB SD card as a gift. Although it’s small, it’s still a nice surprise. After opening the outer box, I saw a simple internal layout — the router, power adapter, and some instructions. The casing feels more premium than the plastic of the K2, giving it a better texture and improved heat dissipation. The K2P has a metal top cover, which is more durable and helps with cooling. The bottom features a wave-like design with many heat dissipation holes, ensuring efficient cooling. The four corners have semi-circular rubber supports, providing good anti-slip performance on different surfaces. The back panel has four LAN ports and one WAN port, along with a reset button and power interface. Unlike the K2, the K2P has gigabit LAN ports, making it much faster for internal network transfers, especially when using a NAS. In terms of hardware, the K2P has a dual-core MT7621A CPU running at 880MHz, 128MB RAM, and 16MB flash memory. It also includes a MT7615DN wireless chip supporting both 2.4G and 5G bands, with 2x2 MIMO and 256-QAM support. This makes it significantly faster and more powerful than the K2. Flashing the K2P is straightforward. You can either use the official firmware or a high-fidelity one. I’ve provided download links below, along with passwords for access. The process involves connecting your computer to the router via LAN, logging in, and following the steps to upgrade. There are two methods depending on your current firmware version. For those who want a simpler way, there’s a one-click tool available. Just download it, set your IP address, and follow the instructions. It takes only a few minutes, and you’ll have a fully flashed K2P. Overall, the K2P is a great upgrade from the K2, offering better performance, improved cooling, and a more premium look. If you're looking for a reliable router with good speed and stability, the K2P is definitely worth considering.
