LCD TV and LCD monitor manufacturer Ruixuan Technology (2489) will officially enter the LED lighting market in 2011, and will initially hit LED bulbs with a unit price below 50% below the market price and an average of only about 10-15 US dollars.
Ruixuan pointed out that the current average price of LED bulbs in the United States is about $30 to $50, mainly due to the profitability of the supply chain. Ruixuan will push the price of the newly launched LED bulb to 10-15 US dollars based on the advantages of existing channels, adopting brand and channel, and lower than the market price by about 50%. It is hoped that the expansion of LED bulbs will be accelerated. CES will confirm orders with customers at CES, and will be listed as soon as Q1 2011.
