Minxin announced that MEMS sensor shipments exceeded 100 million

Since 2011, the company has partnered with China Resources Shanghua, one of China’s largest wafer foundries, to introduce advanced MEMS processing technologies, including the SENSA process. This collaboration enabled the mass production of micro-silicon microphone and pressure sensor chips, offering full coverage of differential and absolute pressure, as well as a wide range of pressure types from micro to high pressure. In 2014, Minxin began working with Huatian Technology, China’s second-largest semiconductor packaging factory, to transfer proprietary packaging technologies such as OCLGA. The company also engaged in various MEMS sensor packaging and technical collaborations. Furthermore, Minxin established batch testing capabilities for MEMS microphones at Huatian, supporting the entire packaging and testing supply chain. In early 2015, Minxin launched the world’s smallest commercial three-axis accelerometer using advanced CMOS integrated MEMS fabrication technology and wafer-level through-hole (TSV) packaging (WLCSP). This innovation made the product highly competitive in terms of cost and miniaturization for mobile and wearable applications. Today, Minxin’s micro-silicon microphone sensors are widely used in consumer electronics, smart homes, and smart speakers. The company has successfully supplied products to major brands such as MOTOROLA, SONY, ASUS, Lenovo, Meizu, Xiaomi, and LeTV, becoming a key player in the silicon microphone market.
