On November 16, 2016, the eighth Mozi Salon was held in the lecture hall of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Research Institute. This is the second time that Sharon used Keda Jingyan ultra-small-pitch LED splicing screen as a speech display device.
Mozi Salon is a popular science forum sponsored by Academician Pan Jianwei in 2016, sponsored by the Shanghai Research Institute of the University of Science and Technology of China, and co-organized by the China Youth Science and Technology Workers Association. The salon is aimed at the audience of middle school students and above. It aims to carry out professional scientific enlightenment for the students through face-to-face communication with scientists in the popular science forum.
In the first issue of the afternoon of February 20, 2016, Academician Pan Jianwei brought the first popular science report of the salon event, “Motion for Explorationâ€, which was still used in the traditional projector display mode. Because the projection has requirements for the indoor light source, the surrounding environment brightness is too high, which will affect the display effect, and the color expression is insufficient. The viewer is susceptible to visual interference when listening to the lecture, which affects the effect of receiving knowledge.
On February 20, 2016, the first Mozi Salon was held in a traditional projector display mode.
On October 19th, 2016, the seventh ink salon was held, using Kodak ultra-small-span LED splicing screen.
In order to give the audience of Mozi Salon a better reporting experience, Shanghai Research Institute set the new lecture hall of Building No. 3 as the new venue of Mozi Salon. The new lecture hall has 182 seats and uses 7.54 square meters and 1.9mm spacing. Keda ultra-small-span LED splicing screen, Mozi salon is also equipped with a new network live broadcast equipment, the webcast is no longer a single close-up, the audience in front of the computer can see the report vision, close-up and slideshow cycle switching, look and feel better.
