The information is so rare that many people have focused on mining various patent application documents and announcements from government agencies. Usually, patents need to be announced 18 months after submission, but the patent office also provides some extension clauses, and Apple will naturally not give up this opportunity.
Wanting to find a particular secret patent in thousands of strings per week is tantamount to finding a needle in a haystack. However, PatentYogi's patent search team has unearthed the following five little-known Apple patents.
(1) Patent No.: US 8,996,619, entitled "Devices, Methods, and Computer Programs for Controlling Target Devices by Instant Messaging." After nearly 10 years of hiding, it finally surfaced in March 2015. .
(2) Patent No.: US 8,988,390, entitled "High-frequency Sensitive Touch Processing", submitted in July 2013. The patent, which was originally intended to be released in December 2014, was delayed by the USPTO after Apple's request until it was awarded in March 2015.
(3) Patent No.: US 9,021,181, entitled "Memory Management Using the Longest Interval Time under Uniform Storage Unit Conditions". Apple's patents in the field of device storage are not uncommon, but we don't know why the company wants to hide it.
This patent describes a method of storing data in flash memory that can reduce the complexity and space requirements of the memory management process.
(4) Patent No.: US 9,022,291, entitled "Invisible Optical Markings for Transfer of Information Between Two Devices", submitted on July 24, 2014.
(5) Patent No.: US 9,022,292, the title is the same as above, but the submission time is August 28, 2014.
