The study was conducted at the Biomedical Information Laboratory of the Seoul National University School of Medicine in South Korea, which is aimed at young people who have been studying on indoor desks for a long time, including graduate students at Seoul National University.
Participants were asked to use a three-hour SunLike-based table lamp and a standard LED desk lamp before going to bed. They were surveyed and the team recorded and analyzed the participants' sleep biosignals.
The subjective statistics of the questionnaire showed that after using "SunLike" LED lighting, the eye fatigue was greatly reduced, and the quality of sleep was significantly improved by rapid sleep. After waking up the next day, my mood became better.
Biosignal analysis showed that sleep time was reduced by an average of 23%, and time spent waking up from sleep was also reduced by an average of 43%. In addition, sleep efficiency as a comprehensive sleep indicator increased from an average of 88% to an average of 94%.
The study team said: "The results of this study show that the use of 'SunLike', based on sympathetic and parasympathetic excitation, the autonomic nervous system is stabilized. Because the human body has a 24-hour cycle, in order to improve the biological rhythm and maintain physical and mental health, it is necessary to use The light of the time period and live in an environment close to the sun."
