Generally, the slightly more complicated robot car is closed-loop control, which means that it has a feedback mechanism that reads environmental information according to various sensors that it is equipped with, and decides its next action based on the environmental information. The action command is then sent to the execution system to enable the robot to make the appropriate action. Of course, some robot cars are open-loop control.
