AMD: Bulldozer did not postpone

Despite being a bit behind the previous arguments, AMD officials pointed out that the release of "bulldozer" products has not been postponed. It is only because they now have a relatively clear release process.

John Fruehe, director of marketing for AMD's server, embedded and FireStream products, commented: "The (bulldozer) product has not been postponed, and Anton (formerly the author of the message) should not use the word "delayed" because it is inaccurate."

He also confirmed once again that the desktop version of the bulldozer processor will be released during the second quarter of 2011, and the server version will be scheduled for the third quarter of 2011, which is different from the usual one-way approach of the server. In the end, he once again stressed that all plans have not changed, and the bulldozers have not skipped.

According to AMD's interim CEO Thomas Seifert's speech at the recent financial meeting, AMD is sampling large quantities of bulldozer processors to customers around the world, as well as the Llano APU Fusion processor, which will also begin production in the second quarter.
